Recruitment Fee Policy
We never charge you to find or keep work — no fees, deposits, loans or charges for PPE, training or checks.
We never charge you
Equation Recruitment does not charge temporary workers, agency workers or candidates any fee to find work, get work or keep work through us. No registration fee, placement fee or administration fee — nothing.
That includes registering and vetting, right-to-work checks, training you need for an assignment, personal protective equipment (PPE) you need for an assignment, and any transport or accommodation.
No deposits, loans or advances
We never ask for a deposit. Getting or keeping work never depends on taking a loan or an advance of pay.
Nobody acting for us may charge you either
All the costs of recruiting and placing you are paid by us or by our clients. No one acting for us — a partner, agent or supplier, in the UK or abroad — may charge you a fee.
If you have paid, we pay it back
If we find that a worker has paid a fee or a cost to get work through us, we repay it in full, with nothing taken off. Nobody is treated worse for raising a concern about fees.
The law we follow
The Employment Agencies Act 1973, the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, and the Fair Work Agency licensing standards (our licence is EQUA0007).
